Yavapai College's Paralegal Studies Degree Program prepares students with an intensive program of study and awards them with an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies when they have completed the program. Successful completion of all law courses in this degree program requires extensive writing, research, and critical thinking skills. Prior to enrolling in upper level law courses, both foundation courses ENG 101 and LAW 100 must be completed with a grade of 'C' or better. Non-majors who are currently employed in the legal field, and have a desire to enroll in a course for professional development, should get in touch with the paralegal studies program coordinator for assistance.
