Paralegal Studies Associate of Science Degree

The Paralegal Studies major is intended to prepare students to work in the legal environment, fulfilling the role of either a professional paralegal, or a legal assistant. Students will be given training in all fields of the legal system, which will include: the court system, legal research techniques, client interviews, legal brief writing and court procedures. Graduates can find jobs with private attorneys, in local courts, or corporate law offices or as independent paralegals.
