MCed Career College Program enables you to become certified as a Notary Public
The legal assistant program at MCed Career College will teach you basic legal knowledge and how to apply the law. Students are instructed in legal terminology, critical thinking, as well as research and writing.
To develop knowledge of what tasks a legal assistant performs, students work in a hands-on learning environment. By integrating the curriculum, a real-life legal work environment is simulated. After completing classroom studies, students begin their internships, where they gain hands-on experience.
After graduation from this program, the student will be able to comprehend principles and procedures of the law, as well as, read, interpret and analyze legal issues.
Students will learn to do computerized as well as traditional law research, draft papers, assemble trial folders, assemble evidence displays and help prepare for trials. The student will be able to learn case management, compilation of facts and information, and the proper way to conduct client and witnesses interviews. This program will enable the student to become certified as a Notary Public.
