As a legal assistant or paralegal, you will be person trained by education, training or work experience who is engaged or retained by a lawyer, law office, corporation, government agency or other entity and who executes exclusively delegated substantive legal work for which a lawyer is responsible. Your job in the legal profession is going to be both prestigious & rewarding.

Program Highlights & Objectives:This program offers a solid grounding in legal fundamentals and an understanding of legal procedures. Using legal resources in order to assist in the preparation of legal pleadings, memoranda, and documents is what you will learn how to do. You will acquire skills to conduct client and witness interviews, evaluate and prepare legal documents, and do other tasks to support lawyers or other businesses that make use of paralegals. In order to gain experience that will be valuable in the workplace, all students are required to participate in an externship.
