Gain a successful career in the paralegal field
This program gives graduates the knowledge and skills that are crucial to assist attorneys with their practice of law. Paralegal duties may include a multitude of different things including participation in trials, case and practice management, client and witness interviews, case investigation, drafting of memoranda, legal research, and legal forms. Paralegals often are employed by traditional private law firms, agencies of the state and national government, offices for criminal prosecution and criminal defense, and the legal departments of corporations involved in banking, insurance, real estate, and technology.
On-campus classes in the day and in the evening are both easily attended to fulfill your Paralegal Program requirements. You can take the law classes at home through distance learning and the internship program gives the student a chance to get practical experience in a real world setting.
By successfully completing the certificate examination from the National Association of Legal Assistants, graduates will become certified. All A.S. degree - seeking students have to meet entry assessment requirements and complete all required college-prep courses in reading, writing, and mathematics with a grade of "S" or better.
