Become a paralegal specialist at Palm Beach Community College

The program prepares students for a successful career as a paralegal or legal assistant, whether in direct legal practice (public or private) or in law-related employment in the corporate and government sectors. Once you complete the program you will be qualified to work as a paralegal or an assistant to a paralegal. Some specialty areas that you can choose from are probate, litigation, tax, criminal, and real estate.

Program Description:

The content of the course will cover legal concepts, court systems, tort law, business law, real estate law, immigration, estate law, bankruptcy and legal communication. Numerous programs have transfer agreements with other colleges and universities that will enable students to transfer course or program credit into a four-year program. Students must possess a minimum 2.0 GPA. It is suggested that students speak with a faculty member or the chairperson of the department. Pupils must finish all of the mandated courses for the program. Total program credits are sixty-four. The program can be completed in two years. This program is currently existing at Lake Worth and Palm Beach Gardens campuses.
