The Paralegal Studies program is a sequence of courses that readies students for positions in the paralegal profession. This program aims to provide knowledge and understanding of the ethical obligations, research of state and federal law, family law, basic concepts of property law, criminal law, civil litigation, substantive contract law and also trains in legal correspondence preparation, wills, trusts and probate. The program stresses opportunities that provide students with specialized legal knowledge and skills required to aid lawyers in the delivery of legal services.
