Become a paralegal specialist at College of Lake County
Students are prepared in the Paralegal Studies program to perform substantive and procedural legal work under the supervision of an attorney. Paralegals work in a variety of law areas in both the private and public sectors, and are critical to helping attorneys provide efficient and affordable service. The goal of the program is to ready students for successful, productive employment and contributions to the legal and business fields. The program enables the students to get used to thinking critically and ethically while carrying out particularly entrusted substantive legal work for which a lawyer is responsible.
