Find a job as a paralegal professional
Attorneys are ultimately responsible for the work they do, but they frequently have paralegals do important preparation for them. Paralegals and legal assistants continue to assume a growing range of tasks in legal offices and perform many of the same tasks as lawyers. Today, paralegals may assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, closings and corporate functions.
In addition to assisting attorneys at trials, paralegals often draft motions to be filed, pleadings, and prepare legal arguments. They are typically responsible for the organization and maintenance of necessary legal files and documents.
