A paralegal will work in the capacity of an assistant to an attorney when dealing with matters of routine services of a wide variety: simple legal research and writing, interviewing witnesses, drafting briefs, filing legal documents, attending hearings, managing dockets and calendars, preparing reports and exhibits, assisting with litigation, and making use of investigative, computer and office support skills.
