Paralegal will be one of the main job markets over the next decade. This is a field that has expanded since it was recognized by the American Bar Association in 1967.

The American Bar Association defines a paralegal as a person who has received education, training, or work experience, who works for a lawyer, law office, corporation, governmental agency or other person or organization and who does specific legal work in which a lawyer is responsible for.

You will be an integral part of today's legal profession as a legal assistant. In this profession you are expected to research laws and examine all facts, organize real estate transactions and estate administrations, be of assistance to the lawyers in litigation, outline documents for the lawyers, help them during and at trial, and write letters for them.
