The Paralegal Studies program is a 24-month, 2008-clock hour training program intended to train the student to effectively and efficiently carry out all the duties and responsibilities of a Legal Secretary and a Paralegal in any given legal setting. The three month internship part of this program provides the matriculant with practical field experience essential to complete the training. In order to be qualified to enroll in this program, the prospective student must possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification. To effectively complete this training, the student must have a minimum overall attendance of 80% and GPA of 2.0 with no grade less than a "C" in any of the main subjects. Upon successful completion of this program, the graduate is bestowed the Associate Degree in Occupational Studies in Paralegal Studies.
