The Paralegal Studies Program's primary objective is to provide students with practical field experience in the legal profession along with a comprehensive, multidisciplinary academic foundation. Because of these experiences, our graduates are well educated and trained to meet the growing demand for paralegals all across the country.
Students who complete the outlined program and meet the requirements of the Paralegal Studies Program, the Department of Criminal Justice, and the College of Liberal Arts, will earn a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Paralegal Studies. The Major Requirements are outlined below, and must consist of a minimum of 36 semester hours in Paralegals Studies and other liberal arts and general education courses.
