Enroll at College of Southern Maryland Paralegal Program
An associate of applied science in Paralegal studies is offered by the College of Southern Maryland. Graduates of this program are equipped with the necessary knowledge and practical skills needed, as entry-level paralegals, to become employed in positions available in business, private, or public entities. Students are taught logical thinking, systematization skills, communication skills, law research, legal writing, technology skills, interviewing technique, investigative skills, and management methods; all of which, are required to be proper paralegals.

An aspect of the program is cooperative education. Currently the College and the University of Maryland College have and articulation agreement in place, facilitating graduates' transfers.
