Become a paralegal specialist at Prince George's Community College

This six-session certification course provides students with the necessary fundamental paralegal training. The series provides a basic understanding of the activities for which a paralegal is responsible and of how to perform them. If you want to be a paralegal, this program can get you closer to your dream.

Currently there are no requirements for formal education or experience to be a paralegal, many employers prefer applicants who have experience working in a law office and/or an associate's degree. After completion of this certificate program, we recommend that you consider working as an intern in a law office and/or enrolling in an accredited 2-year college degree program.
