This program familiarizes students with paralegal practice and procedures. Enabling the students to assist lawyers in conducting research and preparing legal documents, the students will develop paralegal skills and knowledge. Graduates of this program qualify for careers as paralegals in law firms, finance, insurance, real estate companies, and government agencies.
Graduates of this program will be able to:
- Understand the inner workings of a law firm
- Help attorneys in a case preparation
- Compose legal pleadings and undertake research
- Have a working knowledge of the foundational principles of criminal law, business law, real estate law and estates and trusts
