Fisher College
Find a job as a paralegal professional
Those students interested in the Paralegal Studies program will go through a comprehensive program that involves a basic liberal arts education, training in the legal process, education in legal issues, and learning the relevant computer programs to be able to work online in order to do many of the legal tasks done by an attorney. These include private, corporate and governmental legal offices. Because of Fisher College's partnership with a major law firm in Boston, second-year students have the opportunity to gain real-world experience through internships. Networking and lifelong learning in the paralegal profession are available to student members of the Massachusetts Paralegal Association. An attorney may supervise graduates who have demonstrated competencies to handle specific functions, in practicing areas that do not require a law degree.
