Gain a successful career in the paralegal field
The paralegal certificate, which has been approved by the American Bar Association, is intended for students who already hold a bachelor degree and wish to take up a career as a paralegal. The certificate will teach pupils to successfully carry out the responsibilities of a paralegal, by studying effective communicating, critical thought, litigation methods, and computer programs used in law offices, ethics, and miscellaneous legal specialties. Paralegals provide a supporting role in client legal service, although only attorneys are able to give legal advice, provide direct legal services to clients, represent clients in court or accept cases. Paralegals are well prepared for careers in law offices, government agencies, or other law related setting by taking the courses of the post-baccalaureate certificate in paralegal studies.
