Enroll in legal courses at Hinds Community College
The Paralegal Technology program is intended for students who wish to become eligible to assist attorneys in private practice, business, and government.
How much time will it take to complete the program, and will I receive the degree upon graduation?
Hinds Community College's Paralegal Technology program is of two years duration. You may receive credit for courses taken at other colleges. Contact the department chair if you have questions or wish to have your transcript evaluated. If you want to enroll in legal courses at Hinds and later move to another school, you are advised to contact that school in order to find out which classes can be transferred. After having completed the necessary steps of the two-year program, you will receive an Associate of Applied Science degree (A.A.S.) in Paralegal Technology. Unfortunately, Hinds won't offer a certificate in this area of study.
