The Business Department of Midland Lutheran College provides you with the opportunity to become a business professional by offering you the guidance and personal instruction that will allow you to develop the skills and the knowledge needed for a successful career. Inside the classroom you find practical and rewarding challenges, while outside you will be provided with the practical experience needed for an all-round education. Not only will you be able to learn through internships, but also perhaps through participation in o business oriented honorary society, Phi Beta Lambda.
Our faculty will their experience in business on to you, and provide assistance in helping you to choose your course of study. You will major in general business administration, and also choose additional courses from eight concentrations that include business education, management information systems, administrative assistant, accountancy, marketing, a management and paralegal courses. Business administration majors must include what is required from the concentration courses in addition to a common core of business studies, although you will also be expected to examine some non-business studies. The liberal arts education provided by Midland strengthens your writing, reasoning, thinking and analytical skills.
