The purpose of the Paralegal Studies course is to educate students the functions of the legal system and the part in that is played by paralegals. The function of a paralegal is to work with, and under the direction of, an attorney, and the part they play in a law practice or legal department render them respected members of the legal team. They find employment in insurance firms, banks, corporate legal departments, government agencies and in law firms.
