Find a job as a paralegal professional

A low cost top quality Paralegal Studies program has been on offer at Bergen Community College since 1978, and provides you with high quality practical and intensive tuition in the legal procedures and law of New Jersey. The program prepares students for employment as Paralegals with employers such as insurance companies, law firms, law courts and the legal departments of private companies and government agencies.

This course does not qualify graduates to practice law as lawyers or attorneys. It is designed to train paralegals to assist attorneys in such aspects of their work as drafting wills and contracts, coordinating real estate closures, and providing support in litigation and in preparation for trials. This work is generally done under the supervision of an attorney. This program is designed to meet the high standard of training as required by the ABA (American Bar Association) Standing Committee on Paralegals.
