Gain a successful career in the paralegal field

The Paralegal Studies course provides paralegals with a broad education in several different areas of law. Practical 'how to' courses educate students in the workings of the legal system, and teach them skills required to work in a law office. They also learn about the ethics of being a paralegal, or legal assistant, and how they are not qualified to practice law or represent clients. The Certificate courses apply to the Associate's degree.

Graduates may sit the national certification exam that the National Association of Legal Assistants offers, and on successful completion of this 2 day examination, graduates become Certified Legal Assistants (CLA). CLA constitutes approval for institute membership of the AAfPE (American Association for Paralegal Education).
