Find a job as a paralegal professional
Legal assistants, or paralegals as they are also called, are hired by attorneys to help them to devote more of their time on what are licensed to do, and so provide more clients with a more economical legal service. Paralegals help out by taking on tasks such as:
- interviewing witnesses and clients
- investigating and researching facts, points of law and evidence
- managing case files
- preparing and writing documents
- and getting cases ready for settlement or litigation
Paralegals are also frequently required to file and check pleadings and many other documents within the court or appropriate government office. The employment of legal assistants is growing rapidly across the country/.
