The certificate program is of 54 hours, and is intended for businesses, nonprofits and paralegal professionals wanting more information on specific topics of law. The course is oriented towards legal practice, and is relevant to area so law encountered in the average New Your City law practice. Taught by faculty members experienced in legal matters, such as certified experienced bilingual paralegals and New York attorneys, the course includes topics on:

  • Wills, Bankruptcy, Estates and Trusts
  • Immigration Law
  • Family Law
  • Civil Litigation
  • and Real Estate

Document Preparation deals with the main practical work of a New York practice, and relates to the preparation of the following types of legal document: Immigration Forms, Divorce, Custody and Support Forms, Bankruptcy Petitions, and their filing, Filing and Creation of New York Corporations, Power of Attorney Forms, Wills, Living Wills and Affidavits.
