Program Description

After following the Paralegal Technology curriculum, students can work in law offices and perform substantive legal work or routine legal tasks. They can't however give any advice or represent people in courts of law.

Program Outcomes

By doing the courses, student gain legal knowledge and they are able to research and write in the legal field, learn about civil litigation, family law, estates, trusts, wills, real estate or commercial law. They also study computer use, mathematics and English.

Occupational Outlook

Once they finish they will be able to do probate work for attorneys, do searches in the public records, do investigations, complete legal documents and help with the office management. They are hired banks, insurance companies, law firms and business organizations.
