The Bachelor of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies offered by the Kent State Universityís Kent Campus is approved by the American Bar Association.

If you want you can option to minor in Paralegal Studies in conjunction with a 4-year baccalaureate degree.

This is an interdisciplinary program conducted by the Department of Justice Studies and puts together a liberal arts/general education background with law related courses that will develop your communication skills, knowledge of the legal system and practical experience.

Kent's Paralegal Studies program will teach you how to become a great paralegal in all legal areas. The main focus on the program is on analytical skills combined with legal knowledge. If you learn all that you will be able to succeed in any law-related occupation.

Every student with a bachelor's degree at Kent State University completes the liberal education requirements.

The students follow general courses in English composition, mathematics or logic, humanities, foreign languages, fine arts, social sciences and basic sciences.

All Kent's students must complete and internship in the final stages of the program and all classes are held during the day and evening and from time to time on Saturday. During the summer you can also follow specialty courses and here at Kent's all students are most welcome.
