Northwest State Community College
By taking the Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies at Northwest State Community College, students can get a job in a law firm, financial institution or a business. Some of the titles they can have are Legal Researcher, Title Researcher or Legal Assistant.
As paralegals, they will need to prepare documents such as pleadings, standard forms, deeds mortgages or other types. They will also do legal research for documents, and talk orally or in writing with clients or attorneys.
Career Options
In the Ohio state, as well as on a national level, paralegal demand will probably rise faster than the 2008 average. In most cases, they will work mostly in the private sector, but they can also be hired in the public sector. If they live in big cities they might also find jobs in public agencies, consumer organizations or courts.
