Rose State College

Since 1976, the American Bar Association (ABA) approved the Paralegal Studies Program at Rose State College.

This two-year program includes day and evening classes and is trying to turn a student into a great legal assistant or paralegal.

This Paralegal Studies Program is a part of the Business and Information Technology Division and in the end the student will receive an Associate in Applied Science, Paralegal Studies degree.

A paralegal is a person that was especially trained to work under a lawyer's supervision in a law office, corporation, governmental agency, or other entity.

The lawyer is responsible for all the delegated work and is the paralegal is absent the lawyer must handle all the tasks.

Paralegals are prohibited to offer legal services directly to the public except as permitted by law.

Rose's the Paralegal Studies Program is trying to provide the best practical training in legal skills, to teach all legal specialty courses and to make them aware of their ethical responsibilities that come with this legal profession. It is very important that after graduation, a student will understand the role of the paralegal in the delivery of quality services within ethical limitations.

This Paralegal Studies Program is a member of the American Association for Paralegal Education is trying to provide the best legal education along with current technological skills so that the graduates will find easier a job in the legal community.
