Every student interested in studying the legal community must follow The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Studies program. It will teach you how to joggle with theory and practice and how to catch every legal opportunity that's being offered to you.

After completing this program you will be ready for employment at every level of the law-administration, trial, appellate and government.

The Associate of Applied Science Degree of Blue Ridge Community and Technical College will teach you how to understand and deal with the federal and state legal systems. In order to do that you will learn to succeed in the Paralegal field by possessing a few very important skills: writing, reading for information, critical thinking, and applied mathematics.

In the end, the students will get a job, or will be promoted within the paralegal field including: legal advocate, claims analyst, compliance officer, investigator and law officer.

The Community and Technical College will check if the students are in compliance with their requirements for admissions, basic skills testing, and appropriate course placement, including mandated remedial courses. Besides that, Blue Ridge Community and Technical College Catalog specifications on academic standards, student conduct, and graduation procedures are also mandatory.
