Become a paralegal
If you want to become a paralegal or to enhance your career by handling better the legal processes and issues, then the Carthage paralegal program is the best option for you.
The classes are held throughout the year, every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-9:30 pm. Your teachers will be three well-known practicing attorneys and after completing the program you will receive a Paralegal Generalist Certificate of Completion.
In order to get accepted, it is mandatory for you to have a high school diploma and no less than three years of experience in a professional work environment. Some students in this program have experience in business requiring legal knowledge while completing some college credits. If you have none of those, then a letter of recommendation should get you in. You will find all these details from your admissions counselor.
It is very important for you to know that the Carthage Career Services Center will teach you all there is to know about paralegal jobs and service providers in southeast Wisconsin and northeast Illinois.
In the end you will be able to work for private law firms, public and private corporations, insurance companies, government agencies, human resources, real estate agencies and even banking institutions.
