Casper College is preparing its students for transfer to bachelor programs and they are also offering two degrees in the Legal Assistant Department and a post bachelor's Legal Assistant Certificate.

During the courses, the students will be thought how to develop legal research skills, fact investigation skills, and computer assisted legal research skills with Westlaw.

In addition, you will learn to digest de positions, organize case files, draft discovery documents, contracts, wills, corporation forms and family law documents.

After completing the courses you will be able to organize a trial notebook, research evidentiary issues, interview expert witnesses, prepare a medical chronology, draft a settlement brochure and draft jury instructions.

In the end, the students will be helped getting a job by a job search seminar and internships.

Casper College is organizing three times a year the Certified Legal Assistant Exam (C.L.A) with national recognized credential and that is considered to be a requirement for many jobs.

Despite all that, this college is offering a Post-Bachelorís Certificate that will say that you have legal research skills, fact investigation skills, and computer assisted legal research skills with Westlaw and the Internet.

This paralegal program is training students for their future jobs by letting them work with a licensed lawyer and assisting in the economical and efficient delivery of legal services.

They are teaching you all you need to know in order to transfer you to bachelor programs and they will help you passing the Certified Legal Assistant (C.L.A.) exam.

Last but not least, the courses will allow you to continue you educational process while upgrading your existing skills.
